sAm (secret Asian men) was formed in 1998 in Victoria Canada. Original members are Sonny on lead guitar, Dennis on rhythm, Jack on keyboard, Henry C on bass and Henry L on drums.
None of us are musically trained, and we had very little musical background. In fact, most of us do not and cannot read music at all. Therefore, we are more like music technicians than musicians and we worked very hard to put a song together.
We think some of our songs are acceptable and some just suck, but that does not deter us as we do this for the pure joy of music appreciation, and a great excuse to get the hell out of the house once a week.........We'll never make it to the David Lettermen show, but then, David Lettermen will never make it as a band member of the secret Asian men either........
